BRISE: A Bremen lighthouse project for greater equality of opportunity
We at Familiennetz Bremen would like to introduce you to BRISE, Bremen's flagship project . But what exactly is BRISE? And why are we presenting it to you? In our seven-part series, you'll learn everything about the project!
BRISE is the abbreviation for Bremen Initiative for Strengthening Early Childhood Development. With this project, the city of Bremen focuses on the first years of children's lives. The initiative is scientifically evaluated, and almost 500 families in Bremen are participating.
In our family blog, we want to take a look behind the scenes at BRISE and have therefore visited different people: families participating in BRISE, the scientific team from the University of Bremen and some people who support the families, such as family midwives and family support workers.
You can find the entire BRISE series on our family blog until mid-June 2022. We'll be publishing one or two new stories every week that tell you more about BRISE!
