Holiday program for children aged 8-12 years

This special children's art workshop focuses on the painter Paula Modersohn-Becker, who would have turned 150 this year. Children aged 8-12 who are interested in art are invited to spend these two days exploring her art and discovering why Paula Modersohn-Becker was so important to art history and inspired countless artists. What made her different from others of her time?
Of course, this summer holiday program also includes creative activities, and the painter's artwork inspires participants to create collages, drawings, prints, and paintings. This results in numerous original artworks that can be taken home.
August 6th and 7th, 2026 (Thursday and Friday), 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM each day
Location: Paula Modersohn-Becker Museum, Böttcherstraße 6-10, 28195 Bremen
Cost: 70 EUR per child for two days (including material costs)
