Wild and Wonderful – Tribal Life and Natural Crafts

Summer holiday course

for children aged 6 to 11 years

July 6th to 10th, 2026 in Achim Come join other children and experience the tribal life of ancient indigenous peoples. Sit together around the fire, share stories, and try your hand at traditional crafts. We'll roam through forests and meadows, explore exciting things in nature, and collect a variety of natural materials and wild plants. With these treasures, we'll return to camp, where the "wild" life of community awaits you. Experience the diversity of traditional crafts, just as the ancient indigenous peoples knew them. Practice ancient skills like carving, leatherworking, basket weaving, and cord making. Discover the colorful world of wild plant dyes and make paper from plant fibers. Create useful and beautiful objects from natural materials with your own hands. Let your creativity run wild and discover all the things you can create with nature's bounty. We'll discover which natural treasures you can eat and what amazing things you can make from them. On the last day, we'll prepare lunch together and cook over an open fire! Feel connected to nature as you experience camp life with other children. There is so much to discover! We look forward to being with you in the wild tribe and sharing the secrets of nature with you. Dates: July 6–10, 2026 (Mon–Fri) Daily Times: Arrival: 8:00–9:00 a.m. Start: 9:00 a.m. Pick-up: 1:30 p.m. Venue: Gut Clüverswerder gemeinnützige UG (haftungsbeschränkt) Clüverswerder 2 28832 Achim (Uphusen) Meeting Point in Achim: On the large meadow to the left of the main building – Please park on the shoulder of the path!! – Group Size: Maximum: 15 children Minimum: 10 children Course Fee: €130 per child per week (incl. materials, site fees, and lunch on the last day) Meal Information: For our morning break, children should bring their own breakfast and a drink in a reusable water bottle. On the last day, we will prepare lunch together and cook over an open fire. Note: If your child has any health conditions or allergies, please inform me when you register.
