The Child Welfare Agency offers family psychological services related to custody and visitation rights. The focus is on the child's well-being and the development of sustainable solutions. Expert scientific methods and well-founded recommendations support those involved in better understanding family conflicts and identifying opportunities for change.

Offers

• Expert report: Family psychological assessment in family court cases concerning custody and visitation rights. This assessment considers, among other things, the child's relationships, their wishes, and the parents' parenting and cooperation skills.
• court proceedings: Representing the interests of the child in family court proceedings. This includes discussions with the child and, if necessary, with the parents, as well as mediating between the child's needs and the court proceedings.
• Counseling: Psychological counseling on conflicts arising from separation and divorce, as well as on possible alternatives and procedures before family court proceedings. Counseling can be provided jointly or individually, depending on the needs of the client.

These services are aimed at families and other parties involved in family court proceedings, as well as at family courts in Bremen and Lower Saxony. Costs are billed within the framework of the court proceedings and distributed according to the applicable legal regulations.
