Districts: Blumenthal, Gröpelingen, Hemelingen, Huchting, Neustadt, Obervieland, Osterholz, Vahr, Vegesack, Walle

The advice centers “Arriving in the Neighborhood” (AiQ) of the Office for Social Services of the City of Bremen support refugees and immigrants in ten Bremen districts with their arrival and with questions of everyday life.

The advice centers support refugees and immigrants who do not live in accommodation with questions about everyday life and, if needed, refer them to appropriate specialist agencies and services. Through cooperation with authorities and other institutions, they network support services in their respective neighborhoods. In addition, the AiQ advice centers organize projects such as language cafés, workshops, and neighborhood walks that promote interaction, orientation, and social participation. The AiQ advice centers are currently located in ten different areas: Blumenthal, Vegesack, Gröpelingen, Walle, Huchting, Obervieland, Neustadt, Vahr, Hemelingen, and Osterholz.
