District: Vegesack

The residents of Bremen-Nord are self-confident citizens with a strong local identity. The three northern districts of Blumenthal, Vegesack, and Burglesum are 25 kilometers from the city center. Depending on the district, people from all social backgrounds live here.

Our office and most of our classrooms are located in the Gustav-Heinemann-Bürgerhaus in Vegesack, the central town of Bremen-North.

For questions and suggestions, you can reach us on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and on Thursdays from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the telephone number 0421 361 73 19.

The North branch is the largest of the four branches of the Bremen Adult Education Center. Therefore, we offer a program tailored to the northern part of Bremen in the areas of politics, society, literacy, German as a foreign language (integration courses), computer skills for seniors, languages, art, culture, leisure, health and the environment, as well as for target groups such as seniors and young people.

You can reach us by taking bus lines 90, 91, 92, 94, 95, 99 and getting off at the Gustav-Heinemann-Bürgerhaus stop.

Parking is available for you at the Aumund market square (free of charge) or in the Am Sedanplatz parking garage.
