District: Obervieland

The Bürgerhaus Gemeinschaftszentrum Obervieland eV has existed since 1977 and has become an integral part of the social and cultural life in the district.

The community center is a registered association whose non-profit status is recognized. The sponsoring association, represented by its board, decides independently and autonomously on the program's content and focus.

Ongoing group and course activities are offered for children, teenagers and adults in the areas of hobbies, sports, health, entertainment, neighborhood meetings and culture.

Children and their families

The children's and family area is a central meeting point for children and parents in the Obervieland district.

A welcoming and comfortable atmosphere has been created, making it a place where both children and parents feel at ease. The weekly group activities for children aged 6 months to 12 years, as well as the various events, offer a diverse and engaging program for both children and parents.

Daycare center in the community center

Since 2014, the Obervieland community center has operated a daycare facility, "KiTa im Bürgerhaus" (Daycare Center in the Community Center). Children from 1.5 years old until they start school are cared for in various programs (socio-educational playgroups, nursery, preschool).
