The Weserterrassen community center on Osterdeich is one of Bremen's most successful cultural centers, attracting over 100,000 visitors annually and offering a wide range of cultural and social activities. These are geared towards people of all ages, primarily from the Bremen Mitte/Eastern Suburb area.
The Weserterrassen community center hosts a regular senior citizens' group and an after-school care group. The facilities are available to initiatives, self-help groups, political groups, and democratic parties for their work. The community center can also be rented for private celebrations (birthdays, weddings, anniversaries).

The creative courses and projects for children and adults come from the areas of movement, dance, music, theatre and artistic design.
During school holidays, regular creative projects for children take place, many of which have received awards in recent years. Various lectures and activities offer insights into topics related to art and artistic design. The foyer of the community center is available for exhibitions throughout the year.
The cultural program encompasses events from all areas. Recurring events include the "Bremen Klezmer Festival," the "Jazz and More" series with top-class concerts ranging from jazz to pop, and the multicultural dance and culture night "Worldbeat Partyalso Children's theater a regular part of the community center's program.
Every summer, the community center organizes a neighborhood festival ("StadtteilLust") on the Weser meadows with many groups and initiatives from the neighborhood.
