At the parenting classes at ZePP (Center for Primary Prevention and Body Psychotherapy), young parents with children aged 0 to 3 years receive practical and relevant parenting knowledge. They can learn about touch techniques, stress management, baby observation, and general parenting skills in four course modules. Each module includes two to four lectures combined with practical exercises. Parents learn to correctly interpret their babies' behavioral and physical signals and how to manage crying and restlessness. A special baby massage technique is also explained. The course offerings can be viewed at www.zepp-bremen.de .

  • ZEPP supports adults, infants and children to strengthen and develop the sources of their emotional and physical health.
  • ZEPP helps parents who no longer know how to cope with their crying and restless babies and toddlers.
  • ZEPP provides parents with concrete knowledge on how they can strengthen and support the closeness and bond with their infants and children.
  • ZEPP offers body psychotherapeutic support to adults to overcome disturbances in their relationships with themselves and other people.
  • ZEPP helps people who feel overwhelmed and panicky after traumatic experiences (such as traffic accidents, operations, the sudden loss of an important person, etc.).
  • ZEPP provides professionals in the fields of therapy and early prevention with systematic concepts to strengthen and promote the relationship and bonding abilities of infants, children and adults.

The course topics are designed to support and strengthen the early bonding process. The six-month series is open to all: parents can join at a later date or focus on specific areas. Support is also provided after the course ends: participants can connect and support each other in parent forums initiated by ZePP.
