The Vahr Climate Network regularly offers activities for young and old on the topic of everyday climate protection. These activities encourage people to adopt climate-friendly actions in their daily lives.
Learning about climate protection together and contributing to it in your own way is fun and doesn't require much effort. The Vahr Climate Network project involves the Vahr Community Center, the Bremen branch of the German Nature and Biodiversity Conservation Union (NABU), the social services department of the Evangelical Church in Neue Vahr, the Vahr neighborhood management team of the Office for Social Services, GEWOBA (a housing association), the head of the Vahr district office, the Vahr advisory board spokesperson, the Neue Vahr North Family and Neighborhood Center, and JUS Youth Welfare and Social Work gGmbH (a non-profit organization). JUS Youth Welfare and Social Work gGmbH is responsible for the project's administration.
The project is largely funded by the Senator for Climate Protection, Environment, Mobility, Urban Development and Housing of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen (SKUMS), but GEWOBA, WIN and Globalmittel also contribute to the funding.
