The DGhK is a nationwide, non-profit organization dedicated to the needs of gifted children and adolescents. We offer information, advice, networking opportunities, and events related to giftedness.

We are addressing families, teachers, educational professionals and everyone who deals with highly gifted children and young people alike.

The association is financed solely through membership fees and donations. Our members provide advice, assistance, and organize events entirely on a voluntary basis.

The Bremen parents' group offers regular events

  • A consultation and information evening is held on the first Tuesday of each month at 8:00 p.m. at the Self-Help Network (Faulenstraße 31, 28195 Bremen, 1st floor, room 3). Participation in this evening is always free of charge.
  • Game meetups where children and teenagers can interact freely on an equal footing and get to know each other
  • Interesting events (guided tours, workshops, courses, etc.) for families or for children and young people
  • a newsletter with information on current events and other interesting information
  • A messenger group (Signal) will be used to publish event information and for interested parties to exchange information

Please be aware that we also have family and professional commitments and provide our advice on a voluntary basis. Please understand that adequate advice requires peace and time, and therefore a response may not always be immediate.
