Free health consultation
In Grohn, there is now a Health Point – a place where you can get free and easy help and advice on health-related topics. Consultations in Grohn are offered in German, English, and Russian, and translation services are available in Arabic, Kurdish, and Turkish. A translation device can be used for consultations in other languages.
What do the health points offer?
Individual health advice, e.g.:
- Healthy lifestyle
- Help with finding doctors or doctor's appointments
- Offers in the area
- Help with understanding medical letters
- Assistance with filling out forms (e.g., health insurance, care)
- Information about diseases
Group offers, e.g.:
- Lectures on specific health topics
Objectives of the Health POINTS:
- Easy access to healthcare services
- Better understanding of one's own health
- Support in understanding the German healthcare system
- Improved cooperation with other service providers in the district
Open consultation hours and availability:
Mondays 10:00 – 12:00
Tuesdays 15:00 – 17:00
We are also available by email and telephone during the week.
Duration: The project has been running since December 1, 2022, and is initially scheduled to run until December 31, 2026. It is funded by the Senator for Health, Women and Consumer Protection.
