Health POINT in Huchting

Free health consultation

Huchting now has a Health Point – a place where you can get free and easy help and advice on health-related topics. Consultations in Huchting are available in German, Russian, English, Turkish, and Bulgarian. For consultations in other languages, a translation device or language and cultural mediator can be used.

What do the health points offer?

Individual health advice, e.g.:

• Healthy lifestyle
• Help with finding doctors or doctor's appointments
• Offers in the area
• Help with understanding medical letters
• Assistance with filling out forms (e.g., health insurance, care)
• Information about diseases

Group offers, e.g.:

• Lectures on specific health topics

Objectives of the Health POINTS:

• Easy access to healthcare services
• Better understanding of one's own health
• Support in understanding the German healthcare system
• Improved cooperation with other service providers in the district

Cooperation partners

The health points work together with many partners in the district: e.g., with care facilities, youth services, associations and self-help groups.

Open consultation hours and availability

Mondays 2:00 PM – 4:30 PM,
Thursdays 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
and by appointment.
We are also available by email and telephone during the week.

External consultation at the Huchting Health Center:

Mondays 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM – Community Health Professional
First Wednesday of the month 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM – Regional Mental Health Professionals
Second Thursday of the month 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM (starting in September) – Bremen State Association for Self-Help for People with Disabilities
