The House of Science – a house that creates knowledge.
We offer visitors from Bremen and the surrounding area a wide range of programs: With exhibitions, lectures, and discussions, we present current topics in science and research in an easily understandable way from Monday to Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The House of Science is closed on public holidays. Since the House of Science has an elevator, the rooms up to the first floor are accessible.
We offer you exciting insights into the work of universities, colleges, and research institutes. We inform school classes about the latest findings from the world of research. Through regular discussions, we foster dialogue with teachers and representatives from industry. Everyone is welcome!
Science as a driving force for developments
In recent years, the state of Bremen has developed significant research potential. Two universities, three universities of applied sciences, and highly regarded research institutes shape a vibrant scientific landscape. These institutions collaborate in many fields in a spirit of trust and to their mutual benefit.
The diverse events of the "City of Science 2005" program have fostered an even greater willingness to engage in dialogue. The House of Science will serve as the central hub for exchange between science and the public, as well as schools, the arts, and business.
