Used goods for everyone

WE, the three organizations ASB Gesellschaft für Seelische Gesundheit mbH (ASB), the Verein für Innere Mission in Bremen, and the Gröpelinger Recycling Initiative eV (GRI), offer quality secondhand goods under one roof and provide meaningful and fulfilling employment for the long-term unemployed and/or disabled. This benefits the employees, you as customers, and the environment!

Donate

Donations of furniture, electrical appliances, household goods, computers, clothing and textiles, shoes, books, etc. are welcome. These can be dropped off at the Hemelingen department store during opening hours.

Here, the goods are inspected and sorted. Saleable goods are cleaned; some are recycled (e.g., textiles are shredded and pressed into insulation material). Electrical appliances are tested and repaired – where possible.

Offers

The better choice (trend) – Second choice: Furniture, clothing, household and electrical appliances, books, children's toys, all in good condition, are sold to you at a bargain price. Save money and help the environment! Reuse is important to us.

Café Werner

Coffee, tea, cold drinks, snacks and light meals in the special atmosphere of the Hemelingen department store – be our guest!

occupation

This department store employs people who were formerly long-term unemployed and who can more easily find a job on the general labor market through their work in the department store.

Monday – Friday 9:00 – 15:30

Connections by bus and train:
You can reach us by bus line 40/41, stop Hemelinger Bahnhofstraße. The Hemelingen department store is also just a few minutes' walk from Bremen-Sebaldsbrück train station or Bremen-Hemelingen train station (Deutsche Bahn), both of which are only a few hundred meters away.
