Kidpower Teenpower Fullpower International is one of the world's leading non-profit organizations that teaches people of all ages how to protect themselves and others from bullying, sexual violence, kidnapping and other acts of violence.

Kidpower Germany teaches all children (regardless of age, origin and/or disability) how to protect themselves through empowering coaching.

Andrea Meier founded Kidpower Germany in 2004. She is a certified trainer with Kidpower Teenpower Fullpower International in California, USA. Since then, Kidpower Germany has offered workshops for children of all ages, parents, and educators on the topic of safety in social interactions. Andrea Meier is an early childhood educator and manages a daycare center in Bremen.

In Kidpower training, children develop practical skills, learning how to act thoughtfully in difficult situations, trust themselves, and thus protect themselves from violence. Short role-playing games and fun stories help children engage with this topic in an age-appropriate way.

In this active training, the children learn:

  • Be attentive and show self-confidence
  • Identify potential problems and act quickly
  • Dealing with strangers
  •  Setting clear and appropriate boundaries
  • Create a security plan
  • Use self-defense techniques effectively
  • Get support and help

We offer the following workshops:

  • Kindergarten children
  • Primary school children
  • Teenagers aged 10 to 14
  • Young people aged 14 to 18
  • Parents' evenings
  • Professional development for educators
