Since 1987, the association Nitribitt eV has been advocating for the interests of those who voluntarily work in prostitution.

Nitribitt supports, promotes and organizes activities against the discrimination of sex workers.

Offers and advice:

• Exit counselling and support
• Accompaniment to appointments with authorities
• Consultations on the Prostitutes Protection Act (ProstSchG)
• Support in all relevant areas of life (experience of violence, partner, family…)
• Advice and support for migrants (with the help of an interpreter)
• Outreach work/street work in apartments, brothels, bars and clubs, as well as on Helenenstrasse and Cuxhavener Strasse
• Professional and health advice (legal obligations, safer sex, dealing with customers…)
• Guide to various therapeutic and social welfare institutions and other cooperation partners
• Public relations/political work
