Queer Cities e. V. is committed to queer communities, inclusion, diversity and international understanding, and creates spaces for encounter and participation.
The organization advocates for an open society where people are welcome regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, origin, or disability. Its projects are aimed at both queer people and other interested individuals, promoting exchange, accessibility, and equal participation.
Offers and projects
- Team Disabled: A meeting place for queer people with disabilities to exchange information about everyday life, relationships and personal experiences.
- Inclusion in working life: Projects for the professional participation of people with disabilities, including support for the transition from sheltered workshops to the general labor market.
- LGBTIQ city partnerships:* International networking and exchange between queer organizations, including in Bremen, Gdansk, Izmir and Szczecin.
- Educational leave and workshops: Educational opportunities on queer topics, diversity and social participation.
- Diversity Management: Impulses and offers for organizations and companies to promote inclusive structures.
- PrideMerch.de: An inclusion project that creates job opportunities for people with disabilities and supports non-profit organizations.
