The social welfare organization of the Free Christian Community Bremen e. V. is a Christian provider of social services in the areas of senior citizen care, support for people with mental disabilities, employment promotion, and child, youth and family welfare.
The biblical mandate “Accept one another, just as Christ accepted you” motivates us to help people meet their basic physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs.
Activation & Care
Time passes, and with it, our lives change. Everyday life becomes more difficult and sometimes can no longer be managed without help. And yet, there remains the unbroken will to be active, creative, and fully engaged.

Youth & Family
To feel accepted and secure from an early age, to have the freedom to learn from mistakes in a fear-free atmosphere and to grow into the challenges of everyday life – we want to give children and young people a good start in life and strengthen their confidence in their own path.
Assistance & Participation
When a person's mind is ill or they are suffering from addiction, all areas of their life are affected – and the person must learn to reorient themselves. We support, care for, and provide support to people with mental health and alcohol-related illnesses in various aspects of their lives.
ArBiS – Work & Education
ArBiS stands for "Work, Education and Social Affairs". ArBiS is a subsidiary of the social services organization of the Free Christian Community and offers educational programs on a wide range of topics for the organization's employees.
We are certified as an educational institution according to AZAV by the Hanseatic Certification Agency GmbH. We
also offer employment, education, and qualification programs for disabled and disadvantaged people in integration projects.
The participants receive individual support and assistance in the workshops and facilities of the social welfare organization.
Faith & Life
We, the pastors and chaplains, are available to all residents and those in our care as personal contacts upon request, and we also take family members into consideration.
Through a variety of services, the balance of body, mind, and spirit is fostered through the interplay of care and support. This occurs in personal interaction, where space is created to address existential and spiritual needs.
For those who see faith as an integral part of their everyday lives, or who wish to engage with the Christian understanding regarding concrete questions of life, we, as pastors and chaplains, are available for conversation and are happy to provide inspiration.
