District: Horn-Lehe

For 100 semesters, we have been there for students in all matters relating to BAföG (Federal Training Assistance Act), student housing, cafeterias, culture, psychological counseling and social counseling.

Furthermore, we are committed to working together with childcare facilities to create a family-friendly study environment.

Canteens & Cafeterias

We place great importance on food safety, sustainability, and regional sourcing. Dedicated and qualified employees ensure this through the use and processing of high-quality products and the responsible use of resources.

Children of students up to the age of six eat free in our cafeterias!
An eligibility card is required, which can be obtained at our service points upon presentation of the child's birth certificate and the student parent's enrollment certificate.

If you have any questions or suggestions regarding our offerings, would like to find out more about topics related to our catering services, or would like to learn more about the MENSACARD or university card, our colleagues in the university catering operations and administration will be happy to assist you.

Advice

University studies are a time filled with many new experiences. Alongside professional training, important personal changes also take place: old friendships dissolve, and new relationships form. A distance may develop between students and their parents, partnerships evolve, and long-term social and professional plans need to be developed. Often, especially at the beginning of university, problems with orientation, performance pressure, or competition trigger fundamental self-doubt.

Psychological counseling

University studies can be an interesting time with many new experiences. However, this phase can also bring challenges that one doesn't always feel able to handle alone. The psychological counseling service can help with study-related and personal problems.

We offer support for the respective topics with various free services such as individual consultations, different groups and workshops.

We are available all year round, even during semester breaks. If you have any further questions or would like to schedule an appointment, please call us at: 0421 2201 11310.

Social counseling

We are here to help you with these and other study-related, personal, and social problems. We believe that crises can create anxiety, but they also present an opportunity for personal growth and expanding your horizons.

For the specific issues you bring to us, we actively support you with various offers to help you find individual solutions.

As a student, you can use the counselling services at any time – even during semester breaks – free of charge and without bureaucratic hurdles. Naturally, all staff members are bound by confidentiality.

culture

To promote student cultural projects, we provide financial support and assist in connecting with contacts or with public relations. This form can be used to apply for financial support for cultural projects by and for students.
