Association for Neighborly Coexistence eV.

The "Vahrer Löwen – Verein für nachbarschaftliches Zusammenleben e.V." (Vahr Lions – Association for Neighborly Coexistence) comprises individuals and institutions who are actively and voluntarily committed to fostering community life in the Vahr district. A key focus is on encouraging social participation, for example, through outreach programs for senior citizens. As a strong community, each "Lion" contributes in their own way.

The goal is to engage lonely people in the neighborhood and help them contribute their skills and abilities to the community. Every person is important for a peaceful and harmonious society. Through their skills, knowledge, or simply their perspective, every member of the community makes a contribution. That's why we don't want to lose sight of anyone.

The "Vahr Lions" visit lonely people at home who wish to receive them, giving them their time and providing information about services, activities, and support options in the Vahr district. If needed, they organize companionship and assistance – entirely on a voluntary basis and without any obligation.

The "Vahr Lions" are a strong team: well-informed and well-connected. They ensure this through regular information events and meetings. If they don't have a solution themselves, they know who to ask and who to consult.

We are looking for people who would like to support us and get involved in fostering good neighborly relations, for example through outreach work with senior citizens. Of course, we also appreciate any financial support, large or small.

If you know someone who needs support, please feel free to contact us!
