Employment, qualification, training and advice in and for Bremen

WaBeQ is a non-profit organization that has been active in the fields of qualification, employment, training, and counseling for over 25 years. Our services are aimed at Bremen residents of all ages seeking employment or training who receive subsistence support under the German Social Code II or III. In our work, we build upon the knowledge and skills of our participants and prepare them for employment in the job market.

We support young people and young adults in residential groups under Book XIII of the German Social Code, guiding them towards independence. We operate social housing projects, creating subsidized housing and a home for eligible residents of Bremen. Our construction projects are concentrated in the western part of Bremen.

Skills

We train, support, advise, qualify, and promote young people, adults, single parents, and the long-term unemployed – with or without migration experience – who are looking for training or employment. Based on the participants' personal experiences and skills, our programs aim to qualify them for the primary labor market.
