Advice, support and assistance for refugees in their own living space
The "Arriving in the Neighborhood" advice centers provide guidance, support, and assistance to refugees who already live in their own accommodation, helping them access:
- Health
- Education
- material security
- Work and training
- Apartment
- Offers for children
- Sports and leisure activities
In particular, it concerns:
- Orientation and services in the district
- Placement in language and integration courses/German courses
- Assistance with all official matters, all correspondence and mail
- Questions of everyday life
- Questions about children and family
- Advice and referrals on the topics of work and training, as well as the recognition of qualifications
- Advice and referral regarding asylum procedures
- Mediation on specialist topics such as disability or trauma
- Practical support in daily life, such as organizing furniture transport
