Practice for couple therapy and couple counseling in Bremen
In what context do I work with you?
If you and your partner are stuck in a deadlock, as a couples therapist I can help you find new and mindful ways to connect with each other or, if appropriate, support you in a fair separation.
The services offered as part of couples therapy or couples counselling are aimed at both heterosexual and homosexual couples and are independent of what stage of life you are in.
The frequency and duration of couples therapy depend entirely on your personal needs. In the time between sessions, you as a couple can develop and explore new sources of strength together through exercises and tasks.
Even after our conversations have ended, I will gladly continue to support you with specific questions or new development steps.
What topics can you discuss and work on in couples therapy?
- Escaping the dead end of arguments, boredom, and resignation
- Fears and inhibitions about committing to a relationship
- Unfulfilled desire to have children
- Lack of passion, desire, and capacity for love
- Sexual problems
- Destructive jealousy
- Crises following an affair or relationship hopping
- Coping with life-threatening illnesses, saying goodbye and death
- Separation counselling and farewell rituals when a separation is unavoidable
- Desire to anchor the relationship more deeply or in a new spiritual way
- Reorientations due to career changes or the children growing up
How do I work in couples therapy?
In couples therapy and counseling, I work with methods from family therapy, systemic constellations, psychoanalytic couples therapy, and elements of body psychotherapy. Additionally, I use dialogue techniques, mindfulness-based methods, specific rituals, and, above all, many exercises for the couple. Together, we explore how their experiences with parents, siblings, and other important figures from childhood influence their romantic relationships.
Through these conversations, the couple rediscovers a new and profound understanding of each other. This source of strength is further nourished by special encounters and physical touch. In couples therapy, you will learn how to cultivate healing and openness towards one another through qualities such as compassion, generosity, gratitude, patience, and the capacity for forgiveness.
Furthermore, I will support you in creating new spaces for regular exchange with one another. In this way, more and more new healing potential will be released in your interactions, potential that may previously have only been available to you in a more or less limited way or only in specific situations.
How much does couples therapy cost?
