Art on the street
A temporary open-air art workshop. A large table is set up, easels are taken out of the bus, and painting smocks are unpacked – from April to September, the Mobile Atelier transforms squares in the neighborhood into a temporary open-air art workshop.
At the art kiosk on Bromberger Straße, as well as on Liegnitzplatz, Greifswalder Platz, Bibliotheksplatz, and Überseewiese, children aged six and up, teenagers, and accompanying adults are invited to engage in artistic activities. They can draw, paint, sculpt, build, photograph, print, write, and create collages. Experienced and qualified artists and art educators will guide children and teenagers on their first forays into the adventurous world of visual and performing arts.
The Mobile Atelier has become an important part of community life in Gröpelingen and is also firmly integrated into the cultural landscape in Bremen's west: The most extraordinary lanterns for the FEUERSPUREN parade and works of art have already been created here.
The Mobile Atelier can also be commissioned by schools, institutions and companies for celebrations, conferences and workshops with activities ranging from a few hours to complete project weeks.
