What is so obvious to many people simply doesn't work for us.
For most people, the unfulfilled desire to have children is an immense psychological, social, and financial burden. Doubts about one's own body, fragile self-perception as a woman or man, physical strain from fertility treatments. A life dictated by medical treatment plans, increasing strain on relationships, diminishing desire for sex and intimacy, feelings of envy towards other pregnant women…
For various reasons, it is not always easy to open up to family and friends about these difficult topics. As a result, the suffering and burden of involuntarily childless couples often remain unaddressed, even though the pain is so great.
With our open group "Unfulfilled Desire to Have Children," we aim to provide a space to explore the psychological, social, and relationship-related effects of involuntary childlessness. Feelings, questions, doubts, and also hope are all welcome here. The group is led by a team of psychosocial professionals and is intended to be a place where couples or individuals at different stages of their own journey toward parenthood can meet and get to know each other.
Participation in the group is free and open to both couples and individuals. You can join at any time.
The group starts in early 2026. Monthly on Thursdays.
