Magazine for families with and without a marriage certificate
Families today are more diverse than ever: people live together married, unmarried, with and without children, or as blended families. However, couples are often unaware of the specific rights, entitlements, and obligations that marriage entails – and what applies to couples living together without being married. This can lead to unpleasant surprises when a relationship fails or the family is struck by tragedy.
The magazine for families, both married and unmarried, provides information on the most important regulations concerning assets, pensions, alimony, and child custody. It also aims to encourage couples to make agreements and consciously shape their lives together. The magazine is published jointly by the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs and the Federal Ministry of Justice.
