We are looking for an intern to support our team from January 2027 onwards, as part of a mandatory internship or a practical semester

What you do and can do with us:

  • Contribute to our social media strategy and editorial planning. Here you can gain knowledge in public relations and media work.
  • Content creation (Canva) and management of our Instagram account – with thorough training and a dedicated contact person for your questions.
  • Participation in (own) projects, our current focus topics and specialist topics related to family education and early intervention
  • Preparation and support at the Family Education Network (spring, autumn)
  • Insights into the fields of family education and support, as well as the advisory work of a specialist agency.
  • Participation in working groups and specialist events in Bremen. This will allow you to learn about the city's social support system and specific fields of work.

What you should bring:

  • You are studying social work, social pedagogy / educational, health or social sciences / communication/media or humanities studies or similar.
  • You have at least ten weeks and can complete your internship on at least 3 to 4 days a week.
  • You are creative and have a feel for current topics and trends.

Advantageous:

  • You are proficient in using MS Office, digital tools, ideally with Canva and Instagram (actively) , or you are willing to learn how to use them.
  • You enjoy working in a small team and are good communicators – also by phone or email.
  • You are keen to help plan and successfully implement
  • You have excellent German spelling skills and very good German language skills; knowledge of other foreign and heritage languages ​​is a plus.
  • You can work independently, responsibly and in a structured manner.

The weekly working hours are family-friendly: they are flexible and can also be arranged part-time. Anja Lohse and Barbara Peper are available to answer any questions. As this is a mandatory internship, unfortunately, it cannot be paid.
