Especially during the summer months, there are many opportunities for families – festivals, fairs, and markets are also in season. There, young and old can have lots of fun and experience something together.
We've compiled a list of festivals and events in Bremen that are particularly suitable for families with children between approximately 5 and 15 years old. The Freimarkt and the Osterwiese are especially popular in the Hanseatic city. Both of these large folk festivals take place on the Bürgerweide.

The Bremen Free Card provides all children and young people up to the age of 18 who are residents of the state of Bremen with a credit of €60 per year. With the Free Card, you can use it, for example, at swimming pools, cinemas, indoor playgrounds, theatres, or for ice skating or bouldering (including equipment).
