Summer holiday course for children
In this holiday course, you'll immerse yourself in an exhibition featuring fascinating female artists from Bremen and the surrounding area. Some of them are famous today, while others remained largely unnoticed for a long time – even though they created magnificent works of art.
Together we'll look at delicate pencil drawings, subtle watercolors, and bold charcoal sketches. You'll learn how female artists worked in the past – and why it was so difficult for many women to become artists at all.
After that, you'll go to the studio: You'll try out different techniques on paper. You can draw, paint, sketch, and experiment with materials – for example, pencils, charcoal, colored pencils, watercolors, brushes, paper, pastels, and maybe even collages.
This is how your own artworks come to life: delicate or wild, colorful or black and white, meticulously observed or freely invented. Let yourself be inspired by the Bremen artists and discover the artist within you!
