Holiday program for children aged 6-12 years
In the children's city, the children are in charge. They learn professions, elect a government, and develop their own currency. Professionals guide the children through this process.
Since 2019, the children's city of Bremopolis has been created annually through a network of many partners. During a week-long school holiday, up to 120 children govern their own city. They learn about different professions, elect their own government, develop their own currency, and experience democratic processes in a playful and age-appropriate way. Physical activity, collaborative learning, and fun are central to the program.
August 3rd to 7th, 2026 (Mon-Fri), daily 8:30 am – 3:30 pm

The cost is €130, including full board. Children from low-income families can participate for €25 with the Bremen Pass. Please let us know if you require a subsidy.
Registration required
The staff-to-child ratio is at least 1:10, and attention is paid to healthy eating.
