Holiday program for children aged 8-12 years
For children between eight and twelve years old, we offer a varied holiday program at Vahrer Feldweg. Nature experiences during the Easter, summer and autumn holidays include fishing with nets at the pond, romping in the orchard or adventures in the young forest.
Holidays are always a time for potential adventures, and where better to experience them than in nature? Whether it's fishing with a net at the pond, romping around in the orchard, or exploring the young forest – you can experience wilderness right in the heart of the city with NABU Bremen! Holiday care is offered on our three-hectare site on Vahrer Feldweg during the Easter, summer, and autumn holidays, Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
In exciting workshops focused on nature, participants can learn, create, and develop their own skills, as well as experience genuine self-efficacy. Cooking a fresh lunch together completes this experience. On our grounds or in nearby green spaces, participants will have exciting experiences in and with our environment; self-discovery as part of a whole is a central focus of our work.
Of course, there's also plenty of free time and games just for having fun. Fun is our top priority in everything we do during the holiday program. Our goal is to explore nature playfully, easily, and joyfully.
