Holiday program for children aged 6-12 years
The Hans-Wendt Foundation and the NordWest Natur Foundation jointly invite all children aged 6 and over to join them on a journey of discovery.
From July 6th to 10th, 2026, you can spend exciting days at the Borgfeld Children's and Youth Farm and in the "Blue Classroom" from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm:
- Explore the floodplain forest along the Wümme river
- Explore the water cycle and important environmental influences
- Discover how nature, water and climate are interconnected
- Get to know the animals of the farm
We're looking forward to seeing you and to an adventurous week of vacation!
July 6th to 10th, 2026 (Mon-Fri), daily 9:00 am – 2:30 pm
Location: Borgfeld Children's and Youth Farm, Am Lehester Deich 17-19 or "Blue Classroom", Borgfelder Wümmewiesen Nature Reserve
Cost: €130 (for the entire week)

- Participation is only possible after prior registration.

- In case of illness, short-notice cancellations may occur.
- Please bring healthy snacks for breaks (breakfast, lunch).
- Please pay attention to the weather forecast: weatherproof, comfortable clothing is a must.
- Don't forget your rubber boots, sunscreen, and insect repellent!
