Northwest German Foundation for Animal and Nature Conservation
On behalf of the Senator for Climate Protection, Environment, Mobility, Urban Development and Housing, we are responsible for the management of the Borgfelder Wümmewiesen and Untere Wümme nature reserves, as well as the Oberneulander Wümmeniederung and Oberneulander Wiesen landscape conservation areas. Furthermore, we receive funding from the Senator for the Environment as an extracurricular environmental education center.
Water-related environmental education for diverse target groups is one of our core competencies. Furthermore, we are involved in numerous projects with a wide range of partners.
In the interest of cross-border nature conservation, we are also active in the Wümme river landscape.
