Autumn holiday project for children aged 7 and up
Concept & Artistic Direction: Vafa Aminikia
Let's rediscover Bremen through the eyes of storytellers and builders! We'll take a walk together through a part of the city, looking at places from new perspectives. We'll practice drawing and storytelling, creating 3D miniature worlds from readily available, found, and recycled materials, full of their own stories, creatures, and streets. Each emerging "world" will become a stage for stories, characters, and ecosystems that reflect both imagination and lived experience.
The workshop combines imagination with participation, inviting young people to understand their surroundings as a living space that they can dream about and help shape. Through artistic practice, children are encouraged to perceive their environment through stories, discover hidden meanings, and recognize their own potential for action in shaping the city through creative thinking.
