Holiday program for children aged 8-12 years
July 6th to 10th, 2026 (Mon-Fri), daily 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
We offer the following topics:
- Become a bee researcher:
Get to know honeybees and wild bees better every day, understand them, and learn to live with them. We will also reenact the social behavior of bees. - beehives Explore
Create or build nesting opportunities for bees. Children will learn about important plants for bee food. We will make seed balls for bee pasture that they can take home. - the of bee wax many facets
- Painting competition:
Paint beehives made of different materials. - An outdoor adventure day: Explore the world of insects; experience beekeeping firsthand or even role-play it. Light a campfire and bake bread on a stick. Explore and experience nature with all your senses.
- Cooking and baking with honey:
We'll conjure up many delicious dishes from honey, which will then be eaten. Leftovers can be taken home in containers you bring yourself.
There is a honey breakfast every day.

Teaching apiary at Lür Kropp Farm, Rockwinkeler Landstraße 5, Bremen Oberneuland
