The Bremen 1860 Children's Movement Centre is celebrating its anniversary: For 30 years, the Children's Movement Centre (KBZ) has been an integral part of club life and an important place for movement and meeting for children and families in Bremen.

The KBZ celebrates its anniversary on Friday, June 12th, with a diverse program for members, families, friends of the club, and visitors from all over Bremen. Starting at 3 p.m., the KBZ invites everyone to an open anniversary afternoon at the club grounds on Baumschulenweg. Visitors can expect a colorful array of games, sports, music, and interactive activities. Highlights include a large indoor play area, numerous outdoor activities such as a bouncy castle, beach volleyball, mini-golf, and cornhole, as well as musical opportunities for singing and dancing. The day will conclude with the traditional "Kids vs. Adults" soccer match.

An important meeting place for children and families

Founded in 1996, the Bremen 1860 Children's Movement Center (KBZ) has been offering accessible movement programs for children of different age groups ever since. For many families in Bremen, the KBZ is a central hub for early movement experiences, social interaction, and shared activities – regardless of background or individual circumstances. Arne Tschorn, the KBZ director, says: "For 30 years, the Children's Movement Center has been a place where children enjoy moving, develop self-confidence, and experience community. For Bremen, the KBZ is an important meeting place that connects children and families and makes movement accessible to everyone."
