By women for women in Bremen
The Arab Women's Association (Araber Frauenbund e.V.) is an association for women with roots in various Arabic-speaking countries who live in Bremen. Its aim is to promote the social participation and integration of Arab women and to strengthen intercultural exchange in Bremen.
The association offers support with everyday questions and problems and, if necessary, refers members to appropriate advice centers, authorities, and institutions. It also serves as an interface between members and public institutions.
Another focus is on reducing prejudice and promoting respectful and tolerant coexistence. Events and programs are aimed at women of diverse backgrounds, nationalities, and religions, creating opportunities for encounters and exchange.

- Painting for Peace: a creative activity, also for children
- International Women's Breakfast: a shared breakfast with Arabic tea and delicacies
- International women's party: dancing, singing, laughing, talking and celebrating together
