BravO – Bremen Ambulatory on Site (Bremen-East)

For the Bremen East region, there is a psychiatric treatment service available in the personal living environment – ​​BravO.

We come to your home and help in the areas where you want, need and accept help – cooperatively and on equal terms.

The treatment is provided by our BravO team.

Key tasks of BravO

• We support you in psychological crises with personal contact in your familiar living environment
• We also offer long-term treatment in your home environment; flexible and adapted to your needs

Who is BravO suitable for?

People who live in the Bremen-East region,

• who, due to the severity of their illness, would require inpatient treatment in a hospital or are unable to seek necessary psychiatric help
• with a prolonged, intensive need for psychiatric support

Treatment goals in BravO

Your recovery through:

• intensive, needs-based treatment in the familiar home and living environment
• Avoiding or shortening full inpatient hospital treatment
• Ensuring basic needs are met, developing an understanding of the illness, and initiating psychiatric treatment
• Activation of the living environment and, if necessary, establishment or expansion of the psychosocial network

BravO – for you at home

• They continue to live and sleep in their familiar surroundings
• We will treat you at home, daily if necessary
• If you need help in crisis situations, we are available around the clock. If necessary, we can also reserve an overnight bed for you in our hospital
• We will work with you to consider how you can manage crises that arise at home and support you in doing so
• Right at the beginning of the treatment, we will discuss your need for assistance and the treatment goals with you, and how we can achieve these goals together
• We help you plan your day
• If you wish, we can involve your relatives and caregivers
• Co-treatment by local doctors and psychotherapists during treatment by BravO is desired
• All diagnostic and therapeutic options at the Bremen-East Clinic are available to you
• Drug therapy if necessary
• At the end of the BravO treatment, we plan and organize any further treatment that may be necessary with you

The BravO team consists of doctors, psychologists, nurses, occupational therapists, social workers and recovery companions.

Treatment at BravO is available to all people in the Bremen East region – regardless of their health insurance provider.

You are welcome to contact us yourself. We will discuss with you whether the treatment option at BravO is right for you.
