Brigg is an organization within the Bremen Free Youth Welfare Association, and our client is the Bremen Office for Social Services. We advise, support, and relieve families, children, adolescents, and young adults in conflict and crisis situations.

We also run the Bremen-North school truancy project, we are part of the anchor project, and we conduct social skills training courses. In our workshop, teenagers and young adults have the opportunity to fulfill their court-ordered work assignments.

Furthermore, our Lüssum Youth Club offers a wide range of leisure activities with many additional options. Various projects and group activities round out our extensive program. Feel free to take a look around or contact us directly.

Our team

Experience, diverse backgrounds, exciting career paths, interest, and openness come together in our team, creating intensive exchange and a creative, trusting atmosphere. Our team includes social workers and social pedagogues, a registered nurse, tradespeople, and administrative staff.

We have acquired numerous qualifications alongside our professional work, including systemic consultant and therapist, systemic parent coach, addiction therapist, family and trauma specialist, conflict and anti-violence trainer, art therapist and mediator.

Our locations

Brigg eV is a long-established youth welfare organization in Bremen-North, with its main office located there for many years. We now employ over 50 well-trained professionals, and our inquiries have long since ceased to come solely from Bremen-North.

To better serve this audience, Brigg eV's services are now spread across eight locations, from Lüssum to Göpelingen and into the Viertel district. We look forward to meeting you there!.

Villa on the water

In the villa by the water, we offer two educational projects.

With the Bremen North school avoidance project, we want to reach those students who have great difficulty with regular school attendance.

With the anchor project, we are specifically addressing young people who have returned to Bremen-North from out-of-home placements. In both projects, we support, advise, and encourage students at a learning location outside the regular school system, in order to reintroduce them to the challenges of everyday school life in a safe and supportive environment.
