Information Centre of the Bremen Evangelical Church (BEK)

Information, pastoral care, church membership, and urban church work are our main areas of activity. We serve as a showcase for the 61 congregations and the Bremen Protestant Church in Bremen's city center. Pastor Hans-Jürgen Jung and a team of volunteers are happy to provide you with information in a straightforward manner. We organize events at the intersection of faith and life, church and religion, art and culture.

• Information about events in parishes and church institutions – in person, by phone, electronically
• Information on city tours with a Christian religious background: “Bremen criss-cross – Christian excursions”
• A listening ear, conversations and pastoral care:
  You can have a pastoral conversation with Pastor Hans-Jürgen Jung, or you can find a listening ear with the team of volunteers.
• Advice and information about voluntary work in the church and diaconal sector
•  You can (re)join the Protestant Church through Pastor Hans-Jürgen Jung. Chapter 8 is one of the central church membership offices of the Evangelical Church in Germany (EKD).

Opening hours:

Monday – Friday: 11am – 5pm
Saturday: 11am – 2pm

Note: Wheelchair users and visitors with strollers can reach Chapter 8 via a ramp. The accessible restroom is accessible by elevator.
