District: Eastern Suburbs
We have a total of almost 11,000 media items (!!!) available for loan to children and young people up to about 15 years of age.
These are
- Lots of books: We have comics, lots of picture books, even more novels and stories (including graphic novels), and a large number of non-fiction books.
- Many CDs to listen to with stories, crime stories, and music.
- Numerous films: Naturally, like everything else, our DVD range is constantly being expanded.
- As well as a permanent book flea market
One adult from the family becomes a member of the children's library association and pays €23 per year. This allows all family members to borrow media. Only DVDs cost an extra €1 per DVD per week.
If you forget to return the borrowed media on time, you will have to bite the bullet and pay late fees.
Opening hours:
Mon to Fri: 3-6 pm
Tue & Thu also: 10 am-1 pm
Closed during school holidays!
Possibly open during the summer holidays as well, but with different opening hours.
