Are you looking for ways to beat boredom, are you between 10 and 23 years old, and do you enjoy learning new things? Then you are very welcome at the Oslebshausen Youth Center. In this socio-educational open youth work facility, we promote your health and your social, cultural, and individual skills through sports and music activities.

We also help you explore your surroundings by travel or cycling, and are happy to support you on your path from school to working life. You can also complete your training as a youth leader with us.

We believe in ensuring that people of all backgrounds and genders have equal rights here. Our offers

Learn instruments and make music

Our music program for young people aged 10 and up currently takes place on three different weekdays (Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday). Here, you will be supervised and guided by various musicians if you would like to try out different instruments or learn a specific one.

Furthermore, professional equipment is available here for you to record your own music. Advance registration is essential!

Dancing and training

There are plenty of opportunities for exercise here: In the dance and fitness room, you can try out choreographies independently and learn new dance steps, or, after an introduction, do fitness exercises with and without equipment. Every Thursday, we offer an open sports program in the school gymnasium "Auf den Heuen".

You are welcome to use the outdoor play and sports equipment at any time. You also have the opportunity to participate in football tournaments with other young people from time to time. Training takes place on Fridays from 4 pm to 6 pm at the football pitch "Auf den Heuen", weather permitting.

Cycling and travel

You are welcome to borrow a bicycle from our facility's bicycle point. If something is broken, you have the opportunity to repair your bike yourself under supervision in our bicycle workshop on Fridays (3:30-6 pm).

We can also equip you for short trips and lend you tents and sleeping bags if needed. In addition, we also organize various day trips, multi-day excursions, and youth education programs that you can participate in once we are able to resume operations.

Finding a job after school is easier

For most young people, finding the right career after school isn't easy at all. And once you finally know what you want to be, finding the right path to your dream job is the next hurdle.

We want to make this step easier for you and can help you, for example, to find a suitable internship or apprenticeship, or with your application documents. You can ask us anything; we're always here to listen.
