Gesundheit Nord gGmbH | Bremen Hospital Network

As a municipal network in Bremen, we ensure the healthcare of the people in the region. We are always nearby. At the same time, our closely networked hospitals offer highly specialized treatment options in all medical disciplines.

With almost 3,000 planned beds and about 8,000 employees, GESUNDHEIT NORD Klinikverbund Bremen gGmbH is one of the largest municipal hospital groups in Germany.

The Bremen hospital network Gesundheit Nord comprises the four municipal hospitals Bremen-Mitte (KBM), Bremen-Nord (KBN), Bremen-Ost (KBO) and Links der Weser (KLdW). It also includes a central administrative department.

We demonstrate our proven quality through numerous certifications, for example in cancer treatment such as breast centers or lung centers.

We understand the meaning of "family" with a broad understanding of family, because in addition to the classic union of marriage, our employees live in diverse forms of community.

For example, in forms of cohabitation with different generations, in blended families, or in same-sex partnerships. To reflect this broad understanding of family, all services and programs offered by the hospital network are presented under the title "Self-Confident...in all phases of life".
