“Science in the City”: Attractive study opportunities in a central location

The study programs offered by this long-established institution in the heart of Bremen's Neustadt district – and thus in a central city location – are exceptionally innovative and practice-oriented. The Bremen University of Applied Sciences looks back on a long tradition dating back to 1799.

Approximately 8,700 students are enrolled in 66 degree programs in the fields of engineering, natural sciences, economics and social sciences, of whom about two-thirds commit to stays abroad with practical and study semesters.

While undergraduate degree programs directly follow school education and provide the first academic degree (“Bachelor” degree), postgraduate advanced study programs offer the opportunity for in-depth or expanded qualification (degree: “Master”).

With a study structure that meets internationally accepted standards (European Credit Transfer System: ECTS), Bremen University of Applied Sciences offers attractive study opportunities: individual components ("modules") can be taken abroad. Over 300 cooperation agreements with partners worldwide form the basis for this.
