Vocational school for social pedagogy and home economics
The Inge Katz School (formerly Neustadt School Center) is a school of diversity. We experience the joint learning and working of people from different cultures, from many different nations, of people with and without disabilities and with different social experiences as an enrichment of school life.
This diversity at the Inge Katz School is reflected in the attitude of the students and teachers towards equality across genders, ethnicities, skin colors, age groups and social backgrounds, sexual orientations, worldviews and religions. All these different people learn and work together.
Understanding diversity as an opportunity is supported by the possibility of gaining different life experiences. This also includes opportunities to complete internships abroad and to use the experiences gained for the benefit of everyone involved in the learning process.
As a vocational school, we pursue the goal of promoting the development of intercultural skills among pupils and trainees in order to qualify themselves for the professional requirements and personal challenges in a multicultural society.
