“Die Friese” is a self-governed youth and youth culture center in the heart of Bremen.
Besides being a concert venue, youth café, rehearsal room and much more, the Friese is also home to many self-organized groups who meet here or directly implement projects.
The house is run by the association "Die Friese eV", which was founded specifically for this purpose. The operation of the Friese is financed by youth welfare funds within the framework of Bremen's adaptation concept for youth development.
