More about kek

kek – Kindermuseum für Bremen eV is a non-profit association that aims to establish a children's museum in Bremen. The initiators are Silke Rosenthal, an art educator, and Eva Vonrüti Moeller, an art historian.

The aim of the association is to establish a place with the children's museum where children and young people can explore and experience cultural topics in interactive exhibitions.

A wide range of experiences can be gathered at various stations, hands-on exhibits, and workshops. Imagination and creativity are not only stimulated but also put to the test.

Personal perception is central and serves as the starting point for communicative processes. Experimenting, modifying, and creating are expressly encouraged in our exhibitions.

The majority of our visitors are school classes and kindergartens. A children's and youth museum therefore makes an important contribution to the current educational landscape.

The elaborate design of the themed areas and the specialization of the staff at the children's museum provide a professional offering that schools and museums cannot provide in this form.

Project Weeks
The Children's Museum also conducts project weeks on the topic of color and paper for entire schools and project days for individual classes.

KEK on Tour:
The exhibitions "Color Frenzy," "Allow me to introduce myself, I am your shadow," "Understand Paper," and "Sculpture Tour" from the KEK Children's Museum are available for loan. Our interactive exhibitions are designed as traveling exhibitions and can be borrowed in part or in their entirety.

The kek children's museum is a temporary institution in Bremen.
