Why a men's therapy center?
Our male-dominated society also forces boys and men into rigid role expectations. Many men feel insecure because traditional male roles are dissolving; they are searching for a new direction. The men's therapy center offers spaces where men can discover how to feel and express their emotions.
At the men's therapy center, men learn the skills to experience joy, laughter, sadness, body awareness, annoyance, anger, allowing closeness, creating distance, and cultivating deep connections with others. This fosters the foundation for a more fulfilling life. Engaging with one's own personality means:
- to raise awareness of emotional needs,
- To develop reliability in dealing with oneself and others.
We are open to men aged 16-99 who
- are stuck in crisis situations
- Relationship or separation problems
- are dealing with difficulties in their work situation
- suffer from unemployment or even have no prospects
- to feel lonely
- have experienced violence
- have themselves become violent
- Seeking support in life planning

Offers:
Telephone consultation:
You can, if you wish, talk about your concerns, learn more about our work and arrange an appointment with us.
Individual consultations:
In a consultation, we will discuss your situation and try to clarify your needs and wishes. We will support you in finding direction for the next steps.
Counseling and Therapy:
You can also opt for several counseling sessions or psychotherapy. Here, your dreams, longings, and passions are just as welcome as grief, fear, and anger. Counseling and therapy can support you through a crisis, facilitate the transition to other support services, or address a specific individual issue. Through dialogue, we work together on your personal processes of change, coping with your difficulties, and exploring your goals and desires for a contented and fulfilling life.
Self-help groups:
In our rooms, men can meet as a self-help group. Here, you can exchange experiences with other men and discover that men can offer each other compassion and support. Supported by the clear structure of the self-help group, you have the opportunity to try out new ways of interacting with other men and, in doing so, get to know yourself in a new way.
Guided Therapy Groups:
Just like self-help groups, therapeutically guided groups offer the opportunity to grow through contact with group members. You can realize that you are not alone with your difficulties, yet remain unique. The feedback and suggestions of individual participants, the flow of the entire group process, and the interventions of the therapist support you in working through your personal issues.
