The BISPI neighborhood center is a public institution. It is run by the sponsoring association Nachbarschaftstreff BISPI e.V., which was founded on February 12, 2008, and is registered in the register of associations under registration number VR 7186HB. It has been recognized as a non-profit organization since 2009. The association's purpose is to provide both moral and financial support for the neighborhood center.
The strength of an association is determined, among other things, by the number of its members. Anyone who supports the association's goals can become a member. Applications are submitted in writing and are available at BISPI. The annual membership fee is €24.00.

Groups
A key component of the neighborhood center is the various groups that meet throughout the week and are open to interested visitors. Some groups, such as bingo, the singing circle, the card game group, and the coffee group that meets on Thursdays, already existed in this building when it was under different management.
But there are also new groups like the craft group, brain training, yoga, and coffee & Low German, which have only recently been added and have found their place with us. As a neighborhood meeting place for young and old, BISPI is happy to provide a platform for new ideas.
